Ibn Al-Qayyim (raḥimahu-llāh), in his book ‘Ijtimāʿ Al-Juyūsh Al-Islāmiyyah‘, relates from Imām Abū Bakr At-Tamīmī (d.477AH), the Jurist of Naysābūr, that he said,
“I do not pray behind the one who does not affirm that Allah the Exalted is above His Throne, distinct from His creation.”
